The train is like a worm with a locomotive on both ends as is the custom in Canada. The photographer simply managed to snap the picture at the exact same position in both directions as are the fine skills of Canadian photographers. Its easy to explain things when you make stuff up.
Funny, it seems to be going the same direction both ways.
