Here’s what our Flag could have looked like!

Here’s a submission for the open competition to design Canada’s first flag. Our modern 11-point flag of the red maple leaf, one of the hardest flags to draw freehand, was inaugurated on February 15, 1965.

Canada’s motto of “Sea to Sea” could have been changed to “Tree to Tree”.

    Yuck! Am glad we didn’t go this route… They might as well have offered an earthworm! ;). But the green is nice… Sort of like Norfolk island’s flag
